Idunn Loudspeaker System
The Idunn loudspeaker system features an 18 cm woofer equipped with a Curv cone made from woven polypropylene for exceptional damping and transient response. The tweeter, a 27 mm aluminium/magnesium alloy dome with a DXT lens, ensures smooth off-axis response and a broad sweet spot. Both drivers are housed in a standard 20-litre vented enclosure, filled with carefully measured stuffing to minimize airflow noise and enhance bass performance.
The advanced crossover network operates at a 2.2 kHz frequency, balancing simplicity with performance for a seamless transition between drivers. The enclosure, constructed from MDF, is designed with detailed specifications to ensure consistency and resonance-free operation. The overall system achieves a sensitivity of 85dB, with distortion levels kept remarkably low for clean, dynamic playback across all listening levels.
