Specifications Kupo YS-2.5-CEE Y splitter with 3 cable x 2.5mm parallel wired is constructed with an injection-molded PVC core that offers great tensile strength and a molded rubber cover with excellent shock-absorbing capacity. The molded extension cord is a HO7RN-F rubber cable with an overall length of 1 m with flame-retardant and oil-resistant characteristics; it is the standard extension cord in theatres. PVC is not suitable for extension cords because it melts easily and is not very flexible. The parallel/series adhesive mark with transparent heat shrink tubing clearly identifies the wiring.
Note: Parallel wiring involves a constant voltage in the circuit and the current is shared between the two instruments. In series wiring, the current through each of the lighting instruments is the same and the voltage across the lighting instruments is the sum of the voltages across each lighting instrument.
The parallel/series adhesive mark with transparent heat shrink sleeve clearly identifies the wiring harnesses.
