Beyma CD-101Nd-PT Compression Driver
The Beyma CD-101Nd-PT is a compact high-frequency compression driver tailored for critical applications where clarity, space efficiency, and power handling are essential. With a 1 (25.4 mm) exit and a 1.1 (28 mm) voice coil made of copper-clad aluminum, it provides detailed and efficient sound reproduction above 2 kHz, reaching up to 20 kHz. This driver incorporates Deplocex® patent-pending technology, enhancing heat dissipation and minimizing power compression, as well as VPEQ® technology, which ensures a smooth and linear frequency response. The annular diaphragm is constructed from advanced polyester and shaped using FEM optimization for low resonance and a highly extended response. With a rated sensitivity of 110 dB (1W/1m) and 80 W program power capability, the CD-101Nd-PT is exceptionally efficient for its size. The high-grade neodymium magnet provides a strong 1.8 T flux density, and the FEM-optimized motor contributes to high fidelity and minimal distortion. Physically, the unit is compact with an overall diameter of 90.4 mm and a depth of just 44 mm. It features multiple mounting options: three M5 threaded holes spaced 120º apart on a 57 mm circle and two M5 holes on a 76.2 mm (3 in) circle. At only 0.3 kg, its one of the lightest in its class, making it ideal for portable systems, compact arrays, and premium loudspeaker designs.
