Specifications
The Allen & Heath superMADI 128 channels card for dLive and Avantis adds 128 channels of 96 kHz MADI audio, via coaxial and optical, to a dLive or Avantis system. Designed to help integrate dLive and Avantis into a wide range of broadcast, live interface and recording scenarios, the superMADI interface card offers numerous connectivity options, including 8 BNC connectors and 4 SFP slots for fiber optic transceivers (not included). Both formats, coaxial and optical, offer up to 128 I/Os at 96kHz each, and redundancy and sample rate are switchable for each pair of connections, with a choice of Smux or HighSpeed 96kHz mode. The superMADI card can also be used by engineers and rental companies to connect to any MADI-enabled third-party console, enabling high channel-count digital splits, such as between FOH and monitors. Each pair of BNCs and SFPs can be switched to redundant mode for added security. The superMADI board offers switchable sample rates of 48kHz and 96kHz per link, with a choice of Smux or HighSpeed 96kHz modes.
