The Laowa 50mm f/2.8 offers a maximum magnification of 2:1 with a focusing distance of only 13 cm, while maintaining the ability to focus at infinity. With the wide range of magnification possible, photographers will have more freedom in their choice of composition. In addition, the focal length of 50mm, corresponding to 100mm in 35mm format, is also ideal for general and portrait photography. It is equipped with a CPU that allows aperture control via the camera body, while focus remains manual. Transmission of EXIF data is possible, and a focus-assist magnification can be operated by simply rotating the focus ring.
