Specifications Laowa Venus Optics 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift Canon EF-mountphotographic lens is the ideal lens for architecture and interiors. The wide 110° angle of view is complemented by an impressive +/- 11 mm of travel to compensate for unwanted converging lines and trapezoidal distortion. This shift control is further complemented by a 360° rotation mechanism that applies movements in various directions to accommodate shooting in horizontal and vertical orientations. Also, as part of the Zero-D lens series, this 15 mm f/4.5 renders scenes with a high degree of precision and very low distortion.
In terms of optics, there are two aspherical and three ultra-low dispersion elements, which reduce spherical and chromatic aberrations for high sharpness and clarity. An anti-reflective coating also helps control flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color rendition. The lens uses a manual focus design to work with subjects at a distance of 7.9 and features a five-blade aperture to produce distinct 10-point sun stars.
Compatible with the optional Shift Lens mount for a more balanced mount and to allow the lens to be used for panoramic shooting in shift mode without parallax errors.
