Dayton Audio PS95-8 3-1/2" Point Source Full Range Driver 8 Ohm
The newest addition to Dayton Audio's successful family of Point Source full-range drivers, the PS95-8 model features a lightweight, curved-profile paper cone made of 100% natural fibers, for dynamic and articulate sound that extends from a punchy, detailed bass to the highest treble. The compact 3-1/2" size enables great sonic performance in small satellite speakers on the desktop, or in narrow "needle"-style tower cabinets for filling a larger room.
The copper-anodized aluminum phase plug of the PS95-8 is more than just beautifulit provides enhanced dispersion and eliminates the resonance from a conventional dust cap. And the optimized, high-strength ferrite magnet structure features a copper pole cap that reduces resolution-sapping inductance and lowers distortion. Our smallest Point Source series full-range driver isn't small on engineering, or performance!
